March 7 marked the sixth anniversary of the grand opening of Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena, a four-sheet ice complex that has since become a cherished recreational destination for Great Park Neighborhoods residents.Built and funded by philanthropists and Anaheim Ducks owners Henry and Susan Samueli, Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena is a world-class ice complex that hosts public ice skating sessions, learn to skate and figure skating programs, youth and adult hockey leagues, and more. It includes Between the Rinks Restaurant & Bar, Ducks Team Store, and pro shop. Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena is also the official training and practice facility for Orange County’s professional hockey team, the Anaheim Ducks. For details, click here.

Sunday Funday events recently took place for residents of all ages. Beacon Park welcomed everyone with live music, arts & crafts and gourmet food trucks, all with a family-friendly ambience. Guests relaxed on the grass, enjoyed a walk around the park, explored The LookOut, a unique and elaborate treehouse with a birds-eye view of the park, or took a stroll through the nearby models to discover brand-new homes now selling at Beacon Park.

Beacon Park Named Master Planned Community of the Year

FivePoint was the big winner at the 2015 SoCal Awards, taking home the nights top honor for Beacon Park at Great Park Neighborhoods named Master Planned Community of the Year. This is an unprecedented second year that FivePoint has been recognized with this award. In 2014 Pavilion Park, the first of the Great Park Neighborhoods, was honored.

More than 25,000 visitors came out for the Beacon Park grand opening weekend on Aug 15 16 to tour new-home models, explore amenities, and enjoy the weekend at Beacon Parks neighborhood park. From getting colorful at the Arts House, to enjoying the view at The Lookout, an elaborate treehouse overlooking the nearby Orange County Great Park, visitors learned firsthand how life will be different here. Before the day was over, several guests left Beacon Park as new homeowners becoming the latest additions to the Great Park Neighborhoods family.
