The Spooks Were Out at GPN!
As fall thrills and chills filled the air, Great Park Neighborhoods officially rang in the spooky season with lots of fun! Our residents have enjoyed the creepiest time of the year, from scary scavenger adventures to down-home decorating with “The Boo-t-Ful Home Decorating Contest” and the ever popular, “Pumpkin Glow Carving Contest.” With safety top-of-mind in these unique times, we proudly offered creative events both virtually and at a safe distance.

Recently, we had our first-ever Halloween Hunt where families were invited on a monstrous drive-thru scavenger hunt of epic proportions! Throughout the neighborhood, residents tracked down giant inflatable monsters to unlock trivia, discover jokes and find clues to win prizes. At nightfall, things grew even more chilling with special effects and sneaky surprises for the especially brave! Overall, this one-of-a-kind event was a smashing success and ghoulish good time.

Throughout the month, our HOA also hosted several special Junior Chef: Spooky Edition cooking classes for culinary masters ages 11 and under. The little chefs-in-training learned new homemade recipes for Halloween-themed frights and delights. The virtual demonstration included: Bloody Hand Punch, Graveyard Dip, Mummy Dogs, Zombie Snakes and Frankenstein Pops.

We love this time of the year where we get to see our residents express their utmost Halloween spirit and neighborhood pride. We also look forward to all of the November neighborhood fun with the Star Wars Drive-Thru Laser Experience, Succulent Pumpkin Workshop and the Great Bike Ride during Thanksgiving weekend!
