Irvine Ranked one of the Best Places to Raise a Family
With parks to play, schools to learn, and fun stuff around every corner, the City of Irvine really does have it all. WalletHub recently named Irvine, CA one of the best places in the country to raise a family — #3 out of 180 cities! There are lots of reasons Great Park Neighborhoods, plus everything in and around the community, make this such an awesome (and top-rated!) place to live. Check out some favorites:
Great Park Neighborhoods
While each of our neighborhoods are different, with an experience and vibe all their own, they have one thing in common — an exceptional lifestyle and sense of connection shared by families who call GPN home. And our parks are at the heart of it…so many parks! If you’re looking to play, picnic, exercise, lounge in a hammock or play fetch with your dog, you’ll find it here. There’s more. Refreshing pools (yes, 17!) to swim laps, cool off or just float the day away. We also know that a well-rounded childhood means an excellent education, and our two school districts get an A+, so kids can thrive at every grade level.
Summer Concerts
One of the best things about long summer days? More time for family fun, especially when that means outdoor concerts at Great Park Live, where you can enjoy a classical symphony under the stars (make sure you stay for the fireworks!) or dance the night away to a popular tribute band.
New Nature Trails
Grab a hat and sunscreen, because now there’s more to explore! The Red Rock Wilderness area is open southeast of Irvine Lake, with eight miles of recreational trails to hike and mountain bike — or just admire the local wildlife in this protected open space. Let’s face it, when you live here, the good life really is all around.
