TAKE YOUR BIKE CAMPING AT PAVILION PARK
May 01, 2014
On Saturday, May 24th, Pavilion Park will be hosting a Bike Safety Camp, and everyone who rides a bicycle is invited. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., this special event, co-hosted by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) as part of its Bike Month celebration, will feature all things cycling. OCTA will be providing bike safety information and special giveaways. Officers from the Irvine Police Department will be issuing bicycle licenses, required by the state of California, free of charge. And the local police will organize a Kids Safety Rodeo...the bicycle equivalent of a drivers safety course. Joining in the fun will be several local bicycle organizations, including the Orange County Bicycle Coalition, OC Wheelmen and Felt Bicycles. So pedal on down to Pavilion Park and meet your fellow cyclists on May 24thfor our Bike Safety Camp. And if youre a new Pavilion Park homeowner, be sure to ride your brand-new Great Park Neighborhoods orange bike over and say hi!
