New Playground for Even More Fun

Woo hoo…yet another place to play for Great Park Neighborhoods residents. On Nov. 16, the City of Irvine and FivePoint proudly unveiled the Orange County Great Park’s newest playground. Attendees enjoyed kid-friendly activities, refreshments, and opening remarks by Irvine Mayor Christina Shea, Great Park Board Chair Farrah Khan and FivePoint Co-COO Lynn Jochm. Adjacent to the Visitors Center, the newly upgraded, expanded play area features climbing structures, sand, seating areas, a music meadow, zip lining, bike racks, shade structures and more. For GPN dwellers, the options for play are endless—from trails and pools within the neighborhood to sports fields and countless areas of play within walking and biking distance at the Orange County Great Park.
