Admire, Reflect and Share in the Experience of the Cadence Park Art Walk

Great Park Neighborhoods recently welcomed residents and the Orange County community to explore and interact with its newest addition, The Art Walk. The walking trail, located in the heart of Cadence Park, features eight new sculptures by artists such as Sage Vaughn, Douglas Tausik Ryder, Urban Rock, Jen Stark, Kristin Farr, Aaron de la Cruz, LC Studio Tutto and the Dog & Pony group in collaboration with Portola High School students. Each piece features a plaque detailing the artists’ inspiration and the journey of how it was created.

The celebration included residents and guests strolling among the new works, sampling food truck fare and participating in creative workshops situated along the path. Other events included collaborative origami and a viewfinder photo scavenger hunt. The celebration continued throughout the day with music courtesy of DJ Gingee with photo opportunities set among the art installations. True to the vision for Cadence Park, the park was “the perfect backdrop for creating, dreaming and imagining.” The Cadence Park Art Walk is a permanent addition to the neighborhood and makes for an inspiring and artful walk in the park.
