Thanks to caring individuals and groups like the Share Mountain Bike Club and the Great Park Conservancy, the Great Park Neighborhoods collected many bikes this holiday season for families in need.
The Great Park Neighborhoods partnered with Families Forward and Human Options, non-profit organizations dedicated to serving families in need, to distribute the bikes to deserving families through their Adopt-a-Family programs.
“Receiving a bike for the holidays as a child is a moment that will last a lifetime,” said Vivian Clecak, Executive Director of Human Options. “We are so thankful that the Great Park Neighborhoods and our community created unforgettable moments for so many children this year.”
“This year was especially tough on many families,” said Margie Wakeham, Executive Director of Families Forward. “We want to offer our sincerest gratitude to all those who donated through these hard times.”
